Schedule a CDL skills test
Before you schedule an appointment:
- Complete a request for CDL exam from a private citizen (Form R-405)
- Email the PDF document to dmv.detu@ct.gov
The DMV processes your request and provides you with a test date within three business days.
Military personnel: Check if you are eligible for a skills test exemption.
